Quite a while ago I planted some oca, and I recently harvested the tubers (technically probably stem rather than root tubers but I love alliteration).

Need Mead?
I’m not sure if you can quaff a tankard of mead, but I’d much rather that, than boring ale.
So when I came across Gosnells Sparkling Mead, I got unreasonably excited and we ordered some straight away.
Mite Be Good?
Marmite’s marketing is all about love and hate.
Admittedly it is a divisive spread. It doesn’t bring much in the looks department, the texture is form-holdingly sticky and the taste is an overwhelming shout. For all that, though, I neither love nor hate it. I quite like it, sometimes. Other times, I’m not that bothered.
However I have to congratulate them on their expansion into a plethora of products. Cheese, crackers, peanut butter, nuts, breakfast biscuits and now houmous.

As I’m sure I have mentioned, I don’t really like courgettes. I find them bland, a bit mushy, and we had them ALL THE TIME growing up.
