Oca-Y

(Tongue pop.)

The oca has finally got going, and looks… odd.

I get a lot of wood sorrel springing up in my beds, and this bears a noticeable resemblance. It makes sense – turns out they are both in the Oxalis genus, albeit different species.

I’m looking forward to seeing how the oca plants progress – they are still fairly small at the moment.

My ‘Apero’ tomatoes have been enjoying the recent warm weather and leaping along.

I am determined that this year they will be a pinched-out photogenic triumph, but there’s a way to go yet!
