We ate out quite a lot in London last year. London is wonderful for food, and there are brilliant new restaurants opening all the time.
Below is a whistle-stop tour of some we visited – enjoy!
Chinese Laundry – We’ve been here twice for brunch. They have some unique and delicious dishes.
BunBunBun – A rare place that offers Bun Cha Hanoi as well as other Vietnamese favourites.
Prawn on the Lawn – Fresh and frisky seafood.
Rok – Stimulating Northern European-inspired cuisine.
Taberna do Mercado – Portuguese small plate delights.
Bellanger – Luxurious Alsatian dishes – don’t miss the tartes flambées.
Hoppers – Feisty flavours that have proved amazingly popular.
Snaps and Rye – Danish breakfast for the win!
St John Bread and Wine – Simple, pleasing British fare.
Pidgin – A set menu that changes weekly, encouraging you to eat outside your comfort zone.
Mangal 1 – Grilled meats have rarely tasted so good.
Bocca Di Lupo – Fancy Italian dishes and fun drinks.
Kopapa – Sadly now closed, but they did some great brunch dishes.
Italian Job – Craft Italian beer, good eats and dog-friendly.
Blacklock – For the love of chops.
Kiln – Hot, cramped, but fun!
Powder Keg Diplomacy – Come for the cocktails, stay for the food.
