Sushi Nara, Guildford

I love my research. I’m not one of those people who likes to turn up somewhere and randomly pick a place to stay or eat. I like to KNOW it’s going to be good before I go.

Kayal, West Byfleet

After my recent enjoyable (if awkwardly lonely!) meal at Travancore, I decided it was only fair to try out the other South Indian restaurant in West Byfleet – Kayal (40 Station Approach)

Travancore, West Byfleet

On my unceasing quest for thrilling food in the area, a month or so ago I came across a Keralan restaurant in West Byfleet. It was currently in the process of re-branding, but was due to open again soon as Travancore (15 Old Woking Road).

As it was short notice, I didn’t try to find someone else but instead I decided to go solo.

Amazing Thailand Festival, Secretts, Milford

It seems a bit mean of me to tell you about a wonderful festival that has been and gone and only happens every two years. To show you delicious photos of food you can’t easily obtain, while relating how scrumptious things were. It’s almost as if I am rubbing it in your face…

I’m not, I swear! If anything I am tormenting myself.
